The two main differences between Suunto 9 and both Baro models is that Baro models are equipped with an innovative weather app and durable sapphire glass. The difference between Suunto 9 Baro and Suunto 9 Titanium is the titanium bezel on titanium models.

This watch is equipped with Suunto’s new innovative battery technology allowing your Suunto 9 Black to last for longer than GPS watches regularly would. Expect up to 120 undisturbed battery life! This is made possible with the help of a clever battery management tool. Stay on track with where your battery is at and get notified when you need to adjust your battery settings. The watch allows you to select from three different battery modes: Performance, Endurance and Ultra. Performance is the most accurate GPS mode ensuring ultra-precise data but simultaneously costing a lot of energy. Switch to endurance or ultra and allow your watch to perform for longer. In Ultra-mode you are able to use your watch with the GPS switched on for up to 120 hours! At the start of each of your workouts, your watch will give you an estimate on its remaining battery life. This supports you in choosing the most optimal battery mode for that moment. You can also choose to use the watch in simple watch mode when the battery life is extended to up to 14 days. If 24/7 activity tracking and mobile notifications are in use your watch will last up to 7 days without charging.
