The diamond was discovered in India somewhere during the 14th century. Over the centuries Kohinoor has travelled around Asia and finally in the 19th century it came to the hands of queen Victoria of Great Britain. Finally Koh-i-Noor ended up to decorate the iconic crown of queen Elizabeth.
