The standard Galaxy Watch 5 smartwatch is available in two different sizes of steel frame, 40 mm, and 44 mm, while the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is only available with a 45 mm titanium frame.

Of particular note is the Galaxy Watch5 Pro, which packs an unprecedentedly large battery of up to 590mAh, putting the Galaxy Watch5 Pro in the lead for smartwatch batteries.
Samsung Galaxy Watch4 vs Watch5
The standard Galaxy Watch5 shares many familiar features and characteristics with the previous Galaxy Watch4. The strengths of the Watch5 models over the former include their larger and more advanced battery and faster charging, much more durable screen glass, and increased number of sensors for collecting data to support sports and recovery.
The Watch5 Pro model has undergone a complete overhaul from the previous Watch4 Classic model. The redesign has removed the twistable bezel and replaced it with a smooth bezel using haptic technology. Instead of the old steel frame, the new Pro model uses a more durable and lighter titanium. The battery size has also undergone a significant upgrade, with its capacity increased to the current 590 mAh, giving the watch a battery life of around 80h.
Will the Galaxy Watch5 work with Apple?
Unfortunately not. The Samsung Galaxy Watch5 does not support the IOS operating system, meaning that Apple phone users will not be able to connect their mobile device to the Watch5 or Watch5 Pro smartwatches.
Do I need to connect my Galaxy Watch5 to my phone?
Absolutely not. The Bluetooth models have very limited capabilities without connecting the watch to your phone, but the LTE models don't need a phone at all as long as eSIM is activated.
