Polar Unite Blue was launched in summer 2020. This beautifully lightweight fitness watch makes Polar’s world-class sports technology available at a very affordable price. Unite is complete in terms of all the basics ranging from personalized workout plans, 24/7 tracking of activity, HR measuring, sleep tracking, recovery monitoring and stress management. The watch feels ultra-comfortable on the wrist and its minimal design looks good outside the gym too. The watch has been designed to make it easy for you to take care of your wellbeing on a daily basis, even when life gets busy! The watch motivates you to push yourself a little further, while also reminding you to slow down when needed. Because Polar Unite does not feature integrated GPS, the battery life of this watch is at an outstanding level. Enjoy up to 50 hours of training time (compared to 17 hours on Polar Ignite). You can still access the GPS features on your Unite watch by connecting it to the GPS of your smartphone. For their Unite watches Polar is introducing a new one size fits all kind of solution. Each Unite watch is delivered with 3 strap pieces. One of the strap halves is a standard size, whereas the other two allow you to choose between a slightly longer or shorter strap half. Because of this, the watch can be adjusted to fit all wrists with a circumference between 130 and 210 mm. The strap is secured with a practical quick-lock mechanism which makes it easy for you to switch it whenever you need it. Polar Unite Blue is delivered with a beautiful blue silicone strap. Polar Unite Blue features the Polar’s ultra-accurate wrist HR technology, Polar Precision Prime™. This innovative feature was originally launched with the Vantage series and has since been used in Polar Ignite as well as Polar Grit X. What makes Precision Prime™ so special is that it uses a multi-sensory solution to eliminate the traditional issue of wrist-based HR monitors which are often found to give imprecise results due to motion artefacts. Precision Prime™ uses a combination of traditional optical sensors and supportive touch sensors which detect when the watch is in proper skin contact. Serene™ - Tackle daily stress with the support of guided breathing exercises

Simply switch on the function and follow the easy steps of a guided deep breathing exercise. Serene™ guides you to pace your breathing with the support of sound, vibration and visual feedback. After each breathing session, you’ll be able to view your results which show how your body responded to the exercise. Polar devices are not compatible with Huawei smartphones. The phone might respond to the watch, but often requires frequent Bluetooth troubleshooting.
What is the difference between Polar Unite and Polar Ignite?
Polar Unite and polar Ignite are very similar in terms of their features as well as their design. However, there are two major differences which you should consider when choosing:
- GPS navigation: Polar Ignite features integrated GPS which allows you to use it without connecting your watch to a phone. Polar Unite needs to be connected to a phone when using its GPS.
- Battery-life: Polar Unite offers longer battery life than Polar Ignite. Polar Unite allows you to train for up to 50 h (with GPS + HR measuring) whereas Polar Ignite will need to be charged after approx. 17 hours.
