The Garmin Tactix 7 AMOLED 010-02931-01 is a GPS multi-track smart watch with an easy-to-read 1.4" AMOLED touchscreen with sapphire glass and traditional buttons. Battery life is up to 31 days in smartwatch mode and 89 hours in GPS mode. The 51 mm wide and 16.4 mm thick case is made of fibre-reinforced polymer, with a carbon grey bezel and titanium back cover.
The Garmin Tactix 7 AMOLED smartwatch has several features not found on the Standard version, including hands-free text messaging, connected GPS and GameOn app compatibility. Tactical features include a dimmable white or green LED flashlight, low-light support, preloaded tactical and aviation functions, dual-position GPS coordinates, Jumpmaster mode, projected waypoints, a Kill Switch button and a secret mode that stops recording and sharing your GPS location and disables wireless connectivity and communications. Stylish and durable, this watch has been tested to military standards (MIL-STD-810). The watch is also water resistant up to 100 metres.
APerfect as a hunting watch
With the Garmin Tactix 7 AMOLED 010-02931-01, you can track your hunting performance and mark hunting waypoints directly on the watch. By opening the Applied Ballistics ballistics calculator in the AB Synapse - Garmin app (requires a setup fee), you can access targeting solutions for long-range shooting. Set and save geographic range points that you can use later for navigation. Access aviation weather data such as NEXRAD radar data, METAR and TAF data for wind, visibility and barometric pressure. Navigate with preloaded TopoActive Europe charts and get enhanced positioning with the support of multi-band GPS. Navigate directly to locations or waypoints in the global aviation database. By selecting the Nearest function, you can activate a route to a nearby airport. Navigate your next route with ABC sensors, including altimeter, barometer for weather monitoring and triaxial electronic compass.
Sports and health tracking
The Garmin Tactix 7 AMOLED smartwatch features advanced training and performance tracking; including endurance, comprehensive health and wellness monitoring and daily usage features with notifications (when paired with a compatible smartphone). You can use pre-loaded performance profiles for activities such as trail running, track running, swimming, running, cycling, hiking, rowing, skiing, golf, surfing and indoor climbing. This performance profile tracks your HIIT workouts. View advanced training data such as running dynamics, temperature and altitude-adapted maximal oxygen capacity, trail running maximal oxygen capacity and recovery control. After each workout, you can see from the recovery time when you're ready for another hard workout. It even takes into account the intensity of your workout and other factors such as stress, daily activity and sleep. You'll see comprehensive light sleep, deep sleep and REM sleep components. You can track your breathing throughout the day, while you sleep, and during breathing and yoga exercises. With Garmin Tactix 7 AMOLED watch, you take care of your health automatically!
