This special edition model that commemorates the 40 year journey of Casio G-SHOCKS, has a black carbon fiber body that is 54,4 mm wide and 16,1 mm thick, and is decorated with flame red details that glow in the dark. The watch body uses the new Carbon Core Guard structure with alphaGEL elements which offers excellent impact resistance by taking advantage of the properties of carbon fibers (impact resistance, stiffness and disintegration resistance) that are also used in airplanes as components. The wristband is made of polyurethane, which is very durable and feels comfortable on the wrist. This special edition Casio g-Shock in finalized with a Eric Haze-designed logo on the back cover commemorating the 40th anniversary of G-SHOCK.
