Aarni Kaivari Limited Edition - a piece of Helsinki in a stunning wooden watch

Now available for pre-order only at Keskinen Clock! We have the honour to be the only pre-seller of the Aarni Kaivari Limited Edition automatic watch. Grab this unique opportunity and secure yourself a rare piece of the history of the Well Park.

The unique story of the Aarni Kaivari Limited Edition clocks began when a 150-year-old linden tree was blown down by the powerful Aila storm in Helsinki's Well Park in 2020. From one old linden tree, a very unique special edition of 1,000 numbered clocks was born, which continues the story of the fallen tree in a beautiful way.

The Miner Limited Edition clock in brief:

  • A special edition of 1000 bells fashioned from an old linden tree in the park.
  • A unique timepiece, the secret of its charm lies in its first-class materials, skilful woodworking and slim design that fits comfortably on the wrist.
  • The thinner than usual Miyota 9015 automatic movement allows for a slim case and keeps the hands precisely timed
  • Special edition now on pre-sale only at Keskinen Clock

Unique materials & enchanting details

The unique materials of this watch collection are magnificently showcased in every Aarni Kaivari Limited Edition watch. At the heart of the watch's classic look is light brown lime, which is used on both the bracelet and the bezel. The carefully crafted round wood gives the watch a gently undulating look that looks beautiful and sits comfortably on the wrist. The elegant brown sunburst dial has a beautiful glow and is in a shade that matches the colour of the wood. The simple dial is adorned with a small date display finished with a gold bezel and the aarn logo. The gold accents give the watch a stunning glow, creating a beautiful contrast with the tree near the earth. The overall look is completed by stunning details such as the glass back cover revealing the mechanism and the Kaivari compass in the crown.

In addition to its thoughtful style, this watch has paid at least as much attention to its comfortable fit. The watch has a sleek 38 mm stainless steel case with a gold-tone finish. The thinner than usual Miyota 9015 automatic movement keeps the hands precisely timed, which in turn allows the watch to have a slim body. A slightly larger 42 mm version is also available if you're looking for a watch with a larger case.

A handy quick-release mechanism makes it easy to change the watch strap without the need for tools. You can change the look of the watch at the flick of a wrist, for example by replacing the wooden bracelet with a leather version. The carefully considered design makes this model an excellent everyday watch with a classic design that is perfect for everyday use or for parties. With its elegant colour scheme and beautiful details, the Aarni Kaivari Limited Edition automatic watch is a real eye-catcher, ready to tell its unique story.

How Kaivari's 150-year-old cow became an Aarni watch

Kaivari, Kaivoparken, Brunsan, Brunnsparken... A beloved place with many names and a special place in the hearts of Helsinkians. The popular park has been one of the favourite spots in the city for several decades, its lush landscape inviting the city's residents to come together to spend a sunny day in the heat or to drink a glass of mead at a May Day picnic. The park's name refers to a 19th-century spa that soon became one of the city's most popular outdoor areas. The baths' story ended with the bombing of World War II, but a new favourite park was born to stay.

The old park trees in the well have been well cared for since the golden age of the spa. However, a 150-year-old linden tree was unexpectedly killed by the powerful Aila storm, which blew down in 2020 as a result of strong winds. Known for his wooden bells, Aarni saw a unique opportunity to turn the ageing linden tree into something unique. Thus was born the Aarni Kaivari Limited Edition, which now continues the long story of the old tree.

Domestic Aarni watches are designed in Finland and come with a 3-year warranty. Each watch is delivered in the manufacturer's beautiful original packaging.
