A renewed tradition
The GMW-BZ5000BD-1ER pays homage to the iconic square design that started it all. Now it’s updated with a full-metal stainless steel case and bracelet that exudes modern elegance. The structure extends seamlessly from the case to the lugs, effectively reducing shock transmission. A flexible resin cover inside the watch absorbs shock, ensuring the durability characteristic of G-SHOCK even in an all-metal structure.
AI-enhanced structure
Based on over 40 years of shock-resistant G-SHOCK test data, Casio designers and AI created a completely new structure that combines strength and aesthetics. The result is an artfully crafted case that is both mechanically strong and visually striking. A screw-locked back cover ensures excellent tightness and protection - just as you would expect from an all-metal G-SHOCK.
Advanced display technology
The watch features a Memory In Pixel (MIP) LCD display that offers high contrast and accurate readability in all lighting conditions, from bright sunlight to dusk. Tough Solar uses both sunlight and artificial light to charge the watch. There are eight different display styles to choose from, including the new STANDARD and CLASSIC views, offering a traditional or modern look to suit your preferences.
Smart connectivity
The watch connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth® via the CASIO WATCHES app. This gives you automatic time synchronization, access to over 300 world time zones, and convenient features like Phone Finder and Time & Place logging. Combined with Multiband 6 radio frequency time control, the watch keeps accurate time anywhere in the world.
