The Casio G-Shock Classic GA-2100LXB-1AER brings modern minimalism and uncompromising durability to the legendary 2100 series. Representing the LUXE BLACK concept, the watch strips away all unnecessary decoration and relies on deep black tones and carefully considered contrasts. The watch's matte black, finely textured dial elegantly dampens reflections and absorbs light, creating a deep look. The whole is completed by sophisticated silver hour markers, which are made using vacuum evaporation technology, and thin-lined hour and minute hands, which perfectly balance legibility and minimalist design.

In addition to traditional G-Shock strength, the watch's manufacturing process has taken into account the material choices, as its case, bezel and bracelet are made of bio-based resin. The internal carbon fiber reinforced Carbon Core Guard structure ensures shock resistance and an exceptionally thin profile. Protected by mineral glass, the watch measures 48.5 x 45.4 millimeters and is only 11.8 millimeters thick, weighing a comfortable 51 grams. The strap fits wrists with a circumference of 145–215 millimeters. The watch is also an excellent choice for water sports, as its 200-meter water resistance allows for swimming and scuba diving.

In addition to its appearance, the watch is packed with useful features. It offers world time in 31 time zones, a 24-hour stopwatch with hundredths of a second accuracy for the first hour, and a 24-hour countdown timer with a second accuracy. Daily use is facilitated by five separate alarms, an hourly time signal, an auto-calendar until 2099, and a choice of 12 or 24-hour display format. Reading in low light is aided by a bright white dual LED light for both the dial and digital display, and the hands are coated with a glow-in-the-dark Neobrite coating. A handy dodge function allows the hands to be moved to the side at the touch of a button, so that the digital display is unobstructed. Powered by two SR726W batteries, the watch has an estimated battery life of approximately three years, with an accuracy of within 15 seconds per month. If desired, the user can also mute the watch's button sounds.
