Garmin Instinct 2 Solar Tactical - New features and a lighter design
Garmin Instinct 2 Solar Tactical was launched in February 2022. The second generation of Instinct Tactical follows in the footsteps of its popular forerunner but of course, offers us more! The Instinct 2 Solar Tactical GPS smartwatch comes with new features and a lighter design that sits comfortably on the wrist. Solar charging is now a standard feature and available on both of the two new models.

The new Garmin Instinct 2 Solar Tactical is 10 grams lighter compared to its forerunner. The watch weighs only 43 g compared to the 53 g fit of the previous edition. The new Kill Switch feature allows you to quickly clear the watch's user memory when the situation calls for it. In addition, the watch now has the handy Garmin Pay feature for quick payments!

The Tactical Edition offers all the classic Garmin Instinct features such as smart notifications, preloaded training programs, Glonass Galileo and GPS navigation, music controls, and heart rate monitoring. The rugged smartwatch is built according to the US military 810G standard which means it's great for outdoor use due to advanced resistance when it comes to heat, shock, and water. Compared to the standard model, the Tactical Edition offers a selection of extra features that you'll find below.
