Oris pays tribute to one of baseball's greatest legends, Lou Gehrig, with a new limited edition special model. This watch combines Oris' iconic design with the legacy of the New York Yankees legend. The watch is aptly limited to 2,130 numbered pieces – a number that symbolizes Gehrig's incredible streak of consecutive games played in his career.

The watch is powered by a high-quality automatic movement with a power reserve of 41 hours. A scratch-resistant, anti-reflective, domed sapphire crystal protects the silver-colored dial, which is surrounded by a black outer ring. The date is indicated by a stylish, blue-tipped hand. The vintage-style hands and clear Arabic numerals are filled with luminous Super-LumiNova, ensuring excellent readability in the dark. The 40 mm wide and 12.2 mm thick case is made of multi-piece stainless steel and is characterized by the large "Big Crown" crown and beautifully fluted outer ring, as per the name of the collection. The reverse of the watch is decorated with a steel caseback with a special Lou Gehrig engraving. The watch is water resistant to 50m / 5atm, meaning it is limitedly water resistant (swimming is not recommended).

The watch comes in a unique themed box, which includes a traditional brown leather strap, a more sporty blue-white-gray fabric strap, and a strap change tool.
