Highly immersive sound – master-level quality

The Huawei FreeBuds Pro 5 is the first in its series to offer master-level lossless sound quality. The headphones support Huawei’s L2HC Bluetooth protocol and Sony’s LDAC codec, and have received HWA Lossless and Hi-Res Audio Wireless certifications. The dual-element design combines an ultra-linear dual-magnet dynamic element and an ultra-thin microplanar diaphragm element. Separate acoustic chambers reduce distortion and improve sound control. The result is an exceptionally wide frequency response from 10 Hz to 48 kHz - deep bass and clear, detailed treble in one package. Dual DAC technology completes the accurate and balanced sound reproduction. HUAWEI SOUND tuning is fine-tuned by top music experts. There are Balanced, Classical, Vocal and Bass sound profiles, as well as a 10-band equalizer (EQ) that allows you to create your own sound world in the HUAWEI Audio Connect app.

Dual-motor AI noise cancellation

For the first time, the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 5 uses AI dual-motor, which improves noise cancellation performance by up to 120% compared to the previous generation. The neural network-based NPU boosts AI processing by up to 10 times, resulting in both more effective noise cancellation and clearer calls. Three Awareness modes adapt to different situations. Standard mode naturally lets in ambient sounds. Voice mode reduces background noise, but allows speech and announcements to be heard. Adaptive mode automatically responds to the environment and adjusts noise cancellation accordingly. Adaptive sound automatically adjusts the volume based on the ambient noise level. Conversation Awareness detects when you start a conversation, automatically switches to Voice mode, and lowers the music volume.

A bone acoustic sensor and advanced AI noise cancellation ensure clear speech transmission even in noisy environments. FreeBuds Pro 5 offers improved, stable and clear call quality for both business calls and video meetings.

Ergonomic and supportive fit

The headphones are made of skin-friendly and durable materials and have passed environmental and health tests. They come with four different sizes of silicone ear tips (L, M, S and XS), with the medium size pre-installed. The ergonomic design ensures a comfortable and supportive fit even during long listening sessions. IP57 dust and water resistance protects the headphones from sweat, rain and dust. The charging case is IP54 rated.

Smart and versatile use

The headphones support simultaneous Bluetooth connections for two devices, even on different operating systems. The connection automatically switches between devices. BT 6 connectivity ensures stable and fast pairing, and Pop-Up Pair makes setup easy. Gesture control lets you control music and calls with a pinch, tap, swipe or long touch. You can also answer or reject calls with a head movement. Smart movement detection automatically pauses playback when you remove the earphone from your ear. The charging case supports both USB-C charging and wireless charging (up to 5W).
