60th Anniversary Model – Special Collaboration with Honda Racing

In October 1965, the Honda RA272 brought Honda its first Formula 1 victory at the Mexican Grand Prix. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of this legendary achievement, Casio and Honda Racing are introducing a special collaboration model that brings Honda’s F1 heritage, engineering and racing spirit directly to your wrist.

The EDIFICE design team worked closely with Honda and studied the iconic RA272 race car, its revolutionary V12 engine and its distinctive design language. The result is a watch that pays homage to the car that changed the history of Formula 1.

The bezel is finished in authentic Championship White, an exact match to the original color of the RA272. This is the first time the legendary hue has been used on the exterior of a watch. The gold-tone “60” on the dial at the 60-minute mark commemorates the historic victory six decades ago, while the red bezel refers to the Hinomaru theme painted on the RA272’s bodywork.

Every detail tells its own story. The exact date and time of Honda’s first F1 victory is engraved on the back of the short leather strap. The strap’s loop features team principal Yoshio Nakamura’s memorable words: Veni, Vidi, Vici – “I came, I saw, I conquered.” The long strap features the RA272 engine specifications and original technical drawings, while the official Honda 60th Anniversary logo is engraved on the caseback.
