On August 2, 1971, Bulova's chronograph made history when it landed on the moon, where it was designed to withstand extreme conditions. Now, Bulova brings this historic classic into the modern era with the Archive Series, combining iconic space-age design with unique high-precision technology.
The watch features a 43.5 mm stainless steel case that is exactly the same size as the original. The dial features a stunning blue and white color scheme, a tachymeter scale, three subdials, and a retro Bulova logo. The thin hands and raised indexes are treated with powerful Super-LumiNova, ensuring clarity even in the dark. The dial is protected by a scratch-resistant, flat sapphire crystal.
The watch is powered by Bulova's own 262 kHz Precisionist quartz movement. This high-frequency movement offers exceptional accuracy and a wonderfully smooth chronograph hand. The package includes both a stylish three-piece steel bracelet with a folding clasp and a matching blue leather strap. Both straps are equipped with a convenient quick-release buckle, so changing the strap on the fly is easy. The Bulova Archive Series 98K112 is water resistant to 50m / 5atm, meaning it is limitedly water resistant (swimming is not recommended).
Bulova watches are delivered in the manufacturer's original box and are guaranteed for 2 years.
