Bulova's 150th anniversary is celebrated with the Bulova Archive 150th Anniversary 98A324, which honors the brand's proud history as a partner to the U.S. military. The watch is based on a rare prototype developed for the U.S. Navy in 1957. This special model combines the heritage of a historic military watch with modern watchmaking and a uniquely aged material.
The watch's sandblasted case is made of CuSn8 bronze, whose rose gold hue is reminiscent of 19th-century copper diving helmets. With use, the bronze develops a natural patina, protecting the case and making each watch unique over time. The green dial is framed by an aluminum bezel that rotates in both directions. The dial features a two-tone moisture indicator, highly luminous Super-LumiNova hands and indexes, and a biconvex sapphire crystal with five-times anti-reflective coating. The caseback is decorated with a special 150th Anniversary engraving.
A 21-jewel automatic movement with an impressive 60-hour power reserve beats inside the watch. Water resistance to 200 meters and a durable synthetic hybrid bracelet made of rubber and Cordura nylon make the watch ready for even the most demanding conditions.
Bulova watches are delivered in the manufacturer's original box and are covered by a 2-year warranty.
