Battery life for up to 120 hours with GPS on
With Suunto 9 Black smartwatch there is no need to worry about battery running out. Suunto 9 is equipped with an ultra-long-lasting battery that allows you to keep going for up to 120 hours in continuous training mode with the watch’s GPS on! The watch is equipped with GPS, Glonass, Galileo, Beidou and QZSS navigation.
The smart battery management functions notify you when your watch thinks you should optimize its operation to extend its power reserves. The function allows you to choose from three different battery modes that all use the GPS in different amounts: Performance, Endurance and Ultra. The battery lasts up to 25 h in Performance mode with the GPS running in full power mode. This is extended to 120 hours when the watch is set to Ultra mode. Your Suunto 9 informs you about its estimate for remaining battery life before each workout session so that you can choose the most optimal battery mode for the workout. The watch can also be kept in simple watch mode which allows it to perform for 14 days straight. If you are using the 24/7 activity tracking and phone notifications functions your watch will run for up to 7 days before it needs a charge.
