The Garmin Tactix 7 Pro Ballistics Edition 010-02704-21 features Power Sapphire™ solar-charged watch glass, and the power management feature extends battery life even further. With solar charging, the battery lasts 37 days in Smartwatch mode and up to 139 days in Expedition mode. The 51 mm wide and 14.9 mm thick body is made of fiber-reinforced polymer, with a titanium bezel and back cover. The 1.4"" display is protected by a sapphire glass. The watch's tactical features include an LED flashlight, a night-vision compatible display, preloaded tactical and aviation functions, dual-position GPS coordinates, Jumpmaster mode, projected waypoints, encrypted mode and a Kill Switch button. Stylish and durable, the watch has been tested to military standards (MIL-STD-810). The watch is also water resistant up to 100 metres. The following features are exclusive to the Pro Ballistics Edition: enhanced AB target card, Applied Ballistics Elite software, AB Synapse application and Applied Ballistics system integration.

The Garmin Tactix 7 Pro Ballistics Edition has a host of new features to take your training to new heights. Real-Time Stamina helps you monitor and manage your effort in real time, so you don't over-exert yourself at the start of a run, for example. The sport profile features a variety of timers that make it easy to track HIIT workouts (including AMRAP, EMOM, Tabata and custom workouts). You can set the number of rounds, workout/rest intervals and more. A visual race predictor gives you an estimate of your pace for the planned run based on your running history and general fitness level. Trend data helps you visualise how your training will affect you in the long term. The Forward on Route feature allows you to add Points of Interest (POIs), so you can easily see what pre-recorded POIs are on your route.
